Jacqueline Nevins, 91, of White Plains, NY, wife of the late Bernard J. Nevins, died September 9. She was born in Chateauroux, France, the daughter of Solange and Michel Guillemont . A war bride, she came to the United States in 1946, where she and her husband raised a family in Yonkers, Valhalla, and finally, White Plains. She was a nurse at Yonkers General Hospital, and later, a French teacher at the Master's School in Dobbs Ferry, and the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich. She is survived by her children, Christopher and Eileen Nevins of Hampton, N.H.; Lawrence Nevins of White Plains; and Jerome and Debbie Nevins of Redding, Conn.; and by five grandsons and five great grandsons. She is also survived by her identical twin sister, Nicole Jaudon, of Paris, France, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews in France. Calling hours will be 9 -11 am at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY and a mass of Christian burial will be at St. Bernard's Church, White Plains, NY at 11:30 am, Saturday, September 13.
