Imola Paolucci 86, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on March 17, 2016 in Rome, Italy. She was born on May 9, 1929 to the late Domenico and Elisabetta Ercole in Bagno, L'Aquila, Italy. Imola was predeceased by her devoted husband, Secondino Paolucci in 2006 and by her beloved son, Giggio Paolucci in 2012. She is survived by her loving daughters, Silvana (Tony) Prospero of Pleasantville, N.Y., Grace (Robert) Scimia of Thornwood, N.Y. and Ivana (Domenico) Papalia of Rome, Italy and daughter in law, Loredana Paolucci of Thornwood, N.Y. and brother, Elio Ercole of Montreal, Canada. Also survived by her eleven cherished grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to St.Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. would be appreciated.
