Ignazio Fucale

Ignazio Fucale 80, of Valhalla, N.Y. Died on Oct.8, 2006 at his residence. He was born on Feb.2, 1926 to Pasquale and Calogera (nee Ciccarello)Fucale in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily. Ignazio loved his vegetable garden, planting flowers and walking around the neighborhood. He was a self employed landscaper for many years retiring in 1988 and was a member of Laborers International Local 9 in White Plains, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia (nee Cammalleri) Fucale in June, 2006. He is survived by 1 son Patsy Fucale and his wife Diane of Valhalla, N.Y. 2 daughters Maria Schrank and her husband Walter of North White Plains, N.Y. and Lilla Fucale of White Plains, N.Y. 2 brothers Anthony of West Harrison, N.Y. and Benny of Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily. Also survived by 4 grandchildren PJ and Tarra Fucale and Michelle and Marlene Schrank. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday 9:45 AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Hawthorne, N.Y.
