Ida Uscher

Ida G. Uscher died peacefully at home on July 14th surrounded by her loving family. She was born on a farm in Monroe, CT, raised in Bridgeport, and graduated from Smith college. Ida received MSW from NYU and worked as therapist for many years. Adored mother of Nancy (Bill) and Janet (Brett). Cherished grandmother of Alessandra, Jessica and David. Beloved sister of Rose, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to many who loved and admired her. Celebration of Life service will be held on July 19th at 1PM at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, White Plains, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to benefit children in need would be appreciated.
