Ibelise James, born on August 12, 1992, in White Plains, NY, passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 32. She is survived by her beloved children, Ellianna, Daneil, Olivia, and Elyse James, who were her pride and joy. Ibelise is also mourned by her parents, Maria and Rafael Moronta, her siblings, Joel and Madeline Moronta, and her husband, Craig James.
Ibelise was known for her unwavering efforts to put a smile on her four children. She was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor. Ibelise was also known for her contagious laugh, strength, and heart of gold. An adventurous spirit, she participated in a volunteer program in Turkey during high school, dedicating six weeks to help build schools for children. Her generosity was her superpower, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and determination.
A graduate of Westchester Community College and White Plains High School, Ibelise had an innate love for cooking, baking, and music, often finding joy in caring for her family. She was spontaneous and unique, with a humorous side that endeared her to everyone she met. Ibelise’s favorite saying, “Never give up,” exemplified her approach to life, inspiring those around her.
Her proudest accomplishment was raising her children, who reflect the love and values she imparted to them. Ibelise's life was a testament to the importance of family and friendship, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
She may have been faced with more challenges than your average 32 year old, but this never stopped her from trying to lighten everyone else’s load. She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible.
