Howard F Tobias

Howard F Tobias, aged 91, passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, after a brief illness. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 70 years, two children, Howard (Wendy) and Janis, and two grandchildren, Russell and James.

A life-long resident of Elmsford, he was the third of five generations to live in Elmsford. Howard and Joan married shortly before he served in the US Army during the Korean War. Howard was also a member of the IBEW, Local 3, as were his brother and father.

Howard always seemed happiest when working outdoors in his yard and spending time with his family. His wisdom and empathy made him the person those who knew him would turn to for advice. He will be dearly missed.
