DARLING, HOWARD HUTCHINS
Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Olive and Earl Darling on May 21, 1918, the eldest of three sons.
Graduated from Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin; Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude; Economics Major with a minor in Music; elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Served in the Army for five years during World War II, honorably discharged with the Rank of Technical Sergeant.
Employed for 12 years by the International Silver Co., Meriden, CT.
Elected Treasurer/Business Manager of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, serving as a Church Organist at Grace Church, Newburgh, Summerfield Church, Port Chester and Ridgeview Congregational Church, White Plains, where he also served as Choir Director.
Served as Treasurer of the Westchester Chapter of The American Guild of Organists.
Died October 22, 2006, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen; their daughter, Elaine and son-in-law, Vincent.
