Holly (Ferdico) Kimmel

Holly Kimmel of Millwood New York, passed away of natural causes on July 6, 2020. She was 59 years old. Holly was born on November 28, 1960 to the late Gloria and Salvatore Ferdico of Crestwood, New York. She was a loving wife to the late Alan Kimmel, her husband of 35 years, a devoted mother to her three children, Lauren, Samantha and Josh, and a supportive sister to Glenn Ferdico, his late wife Jodi and their children Justin and Alex. Holly was a great cook and an even better host – hosting all Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday dinners for her family. She always went above and beyond to make everything extra special, even labeling Christmas gifts as being from Santa and Mrs. Clause. She loved to go on vacations with her husband, children and family friends to Aruba and the Bahamas, where they spent many joyful weeks at the beach. Holly had many friends, including her beloved “Girls Group,” with whom she had monthly dinners with for over 25 years. She was an animal lover, having rescued several cats including Lulu, Beezer, and Bruno. She was often surrounded by family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. A memorial service will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11 ^th from 3pm to 7pm.  A funeral service will be held at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla on Sunday, July 12 ^th at 11am. The family will host an outdoor brunch at their home immediately following.
