Hildegarde (Mueller) Keller

Hildegarde Keller, (née Mueller), 81 of Valhalla, NY passed away on June 29, 2017 at her home. Hildegarde was a long gone cap and glove airline stewardess who lost her job because of her husband (in those days you were pitched when you got hitched). She was active in ballet and raised show geese for fun. She was her husband's partner in his practice and whatever level of success he attained he blamed it on Hildegarde's drive and character. She was strong with a light Germanic touch. Hildegarde raised two boys without the help of her busy mate who never changed a diaper. She maintained her 90 pound ballet figure but it didn't help prevent the demise of her inquisitive mind - Dementia never knew a more beautiful woman.  Hildegarde is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. Charles Keller; her two sons, Dr. Carl Keller (Holly) of Sacramento, CA and Dr. Eric Keller (Susan) of Chappaqua, NY. She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren; Allison, Sherry, Spencer, Alexandra, Olivia and Abigail. Reposing and Memorial Service Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday July 6, 2017, 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532 or an animal shelter of your choice in her name would be appreciated.
