Henry M. Oswald, Sr. 78, a lifelong resident of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on May 5,2017 at his residence. He was born on June 19,1938 to the late Henry and Louise Oswald in Tarrytown, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army from 1961-1964. Henry was a retired mechanic forman with the Town of Mt.Pleasant Highway Department for over 36 years and was also a Life Member of the Hawthorne Fire Co.#1. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol (nee Bernard) Oswald of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving children, Henry (Dorothy) Oswald, Drew (Margaret) Oswald and Carol (Salvatore) Pennelle all of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by his 8 cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 3-7 PM. Interment Private.
