Helen R. Almeyda

Helen R. Almeyda 92, of Miami Beach, FL and most recently of Ridgefield, CT died on Nov. 13, 2019. She was born on August 4, 1927 to the late Martin and Cecilia (nee Mejias) Ramos in NYC. Helen was predeceased by her devoted husband, Eduardo Almeyda in 1993 and also predeceased by two sisters, Martha and Blanche. She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth A. Almeyda, MD (George V. DiGiacinto, MD) of North Salem, N.Y. and Edward S. Almeyda. one sister, Alice (Anthony) Millor of East Falmouth, Mass. also survived by her two cherished grandchildren, Alexandra and Gregory. (No Visiting Hours) Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday, 1:00 PM.
