Hazel B. Fossella

Hazel B. Fossella 93, most recently of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Toms River, NJ and a former longtime resident of New Rochelle, N.Y. died on Nov.24, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1921 to the late Howard and Alice Flood in Bakersfield, VT. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Marcello (Jack) Fossella in 1997. Hazel is survived by her loving daughters, Jackie (Bruce) Swansen of Toms River, NJ, Diane (Gerry) Jacobsen of Dobson, NC, Darlene (Artie) Torres of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. , Donna (Ernie) Carpentieri of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Debbie (Lenny) Carpentieri of Hawthorne, N.Y. also survived by her seventeen cherished grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
