HARRY G. VORPERIAN, formerly of Scarsdale, NY died May 5, 2018 at his Norwalk, CT home. He was 93. Born November 7, 1924, Pittsburgh, PA to Hovannes Vorperian and Zarouhi Bishirjian and raised in (Bay Ridge) Brooklyn, NY. December 1942 Harry enlisted U.S. Navy, sent to flight school, Chapel Hill NC honorably discharged November 1947. Attended Pratt Institute and had an extended successful commercial flooring sales career. A long-time member and elder, Hitchcock Presbyterian Church, Scarsdale, NY. He was a devoted husband, 59 years to Martha (Nee: Saradjian)who predeceased him May 6, 2017 and father. He is survived by his son John (Milder) White Plains, NY and Richard (Kate) Somers, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Fund for Armenian Relief, 630 Second Ave, NY, NY 10016.
