Hal (Harold) Caldwell, 88, of Pleasantville, died peacefully on Saturday evening February 27, 2016. Hal was born in Mt. Vernon and proudly served in the Army Air Corp immediately after World War Two. He was a long-time car salesman, working for many dealerships throughout Westchester until his retirement. With his beloved wife Harriet, who died in 2012, he then sold watches, ties and other items at flea markets and shows across the area. Hal is survived by his daughters, Mindy Stoller and Susan Ostrow, and sons-in-law Bill Stoller and Bob Ostrow, all of Pleasantville, and grandsons Matt Greiss, and James and Rory Ostrow. Funeral services on Tuesday, March 1, at 10 am at the Hawthorne Funeral Home with internment following at King David Cemetery in Putnam Valley. Friends and family may visit at the Ostrow home, 90 Great Oak Lane, Pleasantville, from 3 to 8 pm on Tuesday.
