Guy Charles Berado

Guy Charles Berado 94, died on Nov.9,2021 of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Bronx, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.  Born on April 9, 1927, Guy served in the United States Navy during World War II.  Guy graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1949 and, in 1950, became a Special Agent with the FBI, retiring in 1977 after 27 years of service.  Upon retirement, Guy founded and operated a security consulting firm, Cartel Security Consultants, for the next 15 years.  Guy was a devout Catholic who enjoyed cooking, boating, fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.  A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Guy’s outgoing, larger-than-life personality was infectious.  Guy was always available to provide sage advice, help and support to his family and friends.  Guy is predeceased in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Joan M. Francis, whom he adored, and by his eldest daughter, Christine.  Guy is survived by his children James (daughter-in-law Pat and grandchildren Danielle, Michael and Courtney), Lisa (son-in-law Tom) and Diane (son-in-law Joe).  In the last months of his life, Guy was exceptionally cared for with much love by Bami, his devoted caregiver.
