Guido Prospero

Guido Prospero 83, of Pleasantville, N.Y. Died on Feb.8, 2007 at New York Presbyterian Cornell Medical Center in NYC. He was born on May 24, 1923 to Antonio and Domenica (nee Scimia) Prospero in Bagno, Aq. Italy. Guido settled in Pleasantville, N.Y. in 1955 from Abruzzi, Italy and spent the major part of his life dedicated to the Prospero Family Business in Pleasantville, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife Gina (nee Ferrauto) Prospero in 1998. Guido is survived by 2 sons Tony Prospero and his wife Silvana of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Pasquale Prospero and his wife Maria of Thornwood, N.Y. and 1 daughter Clorinda Ercole of Italy. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. Saturday 10 AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In Lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Assoc. P.O. Box 3049 Syracuse, N.Y. 13220 would be appriciated.
