Grace Mihallo

Grace Mihallo (Unrath) of Scarsdale, New York, died on March 29, 2023, at the age of 98. Grace was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Scarsdale, New York, to be close to her immediate family. Preceded in death by husband William Mihallo and sons Francis and William. She was the beloved mother of Edwin J Mihallo, grandmother of Ryan E. Mihallo and Mark P. Mihallo and Mother-in-law of Patricia A. Mihallo. Sister to William F. Unrath (deceased) and Edwin C. Unrath, sister-in-law to Barbara Lanke, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Great friend to Joe Madigan and all her friends at the Bristal in Armonk, NY. Grace was a caring, loving mother and grandmother. She will be always be remembered for her dedication to her family, giving spirit, keen mind, lively sense of humor, and her can-do attitude. Reposing Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY, where the burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
