Grace (Magnotta) Mastropietro

Grace (Magnotta) Mastropietro, 81, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on November 25, 2023 after a recent decline in health. She was a long-time resident of White Plains and Irvington, NY.
Grace was born on May 18, 1942 to the late Angelina (nee Carpenito) and Rocco S Magnotta of White Plains. After Grace graduated from high school, she went to work at AT&T in White Plains. She was a devoted daughter to her parents and her sister, Annette Magnotta.

In 1965, she married Peter Immediato and they went on to have two children, Peter Immediato (Julie) and Laura Immediato Brower (Neil). In 1973, she was widowed after a tragic accident. Although Grace was small in stature, she displayed great strength after the loss of Peter and instilled that strength in her children.

Grace found love again and married Donato (Danny) Mastropietro in 1979 and they built a long life together with their children and eventually, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as a legal secretary in White Plains for many years and was a dedicated employee. She retired in 2012 and spent her remaining years dedicated to Danny and her family. She was predeceased by Danny in 2022.

Grace was sweet and kind to all. She was loyal and could always be counted on for support and a helpful word. Grace's favorite times were spent with her family and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Whenever she had leisure time, she could always be found engrossed in a good book.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2 at 10am St. Anthony of Padua, 85 Harrison St., West Harrison, NY with visitation directly prior at 8:30am - 9:30am at Ballard-Durand, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains NY.
