Grace Franze

Grace Franze of West Harrison, NY, died November 15, 2010 in White Plains, NY. She was 94 years old. Grace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna Calabro. She married Ilario Franze on December 15, 1935 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church by Father Rosa. On February 5, 2006, "World Marriage Day"�, they were honored at a ceremony at St. Patrick's Cathedral as being the longest married couple in New York State at 70 years. Her beloved husband predeceased her in 2007 after 72 years of marriage. Her children, Janet Sylvia, Lawrence Franze, Jinny Gerstle, and David Franze survive her as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
