Gloria Fiorucci

Gloria Fiorucci, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Aug. 9, 2022 with her beloved daughter Linda, by her side. Gloria was born on August 23, 1922 in the Bronx, NY.  She graduated from Walton High School and went on to teach piano for 70 years. She also worked as a dental assistant in the Bronx for 30 years. Gloria was a devoted wife and mother who deeply loved her two children Richard and Linda. She was predeceased by her husband, Elio Fiorucci, who passed away in 1990.

In her 99 years, Gloria enjoyed a full and healthy life witnessed by all who knew her. She was a talented knitter and incredible cook who adored her seven grandchildren Andrea, Michelle, Danielle, Richard, Valerie, Joseph, Justin and her 13 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Lauren, Mia, Mia, Giovanni, Carlo, Ryan, Gabriella, Lianna, Ava, Giuliana and Viviana. Her family will always remember her love of music and dancing which continued well into her nineties. Gloria also loved movies, traveling, especially to California, and The New York Yankees.

Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, August 11,2022 at 11 AM. Interment to follow.
