Gloria E. Dean

Gloria Dean 89, of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and formerly of Elmsford, N.Y. died on April 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1922 to the late Howard and Mary (nee Johnson) Balcom in White Plains, N.Y. Gloria was a retired self employed hairdresser. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Frederick Dean in 1983 and by her sister, Edna Persichillo. Gloria is survived by her loving children; Frederick (Rick)(Diane) Dean of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Douglas (Cheryl) Dean of Elmsford, N.Y. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren; Keri (Matt) Kiamie, Jeff (Jean) Dean, Doug (Jona) Dean, Kimberly (Wayne) Nuessle, Shannon Dean, Shaun Dean and
Michael Dean. and ten great grandchildren. also survived by her niece, Marlene McGovern of Ossining, N.Y. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 5-9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Phelps Hospice 701 No. Broadway Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. 10591 would be appreciated.
