Gilda Edith (Ferretti) Salhuana

We are sad to announce the passing of Gilda Salhuana,  who was most lovingly referred to as Jill. She was a wife, sister, daughter,  mom, grandmother, and so much more. She loved with all her heart, and her strength was monumentous. She fought hard for many years and passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13th, 2022. She was loved by all who met her, her infectious personality lit up the room with love, she always made everyone feel welcome and at home. She had an affinity for Harry Potter, Betty Boop, and unique salt and pepper shakers.  She loved sitting on her porch at her home in Armonk, listening to her wind chimes and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years John Salhuana whom she loved greatly.  She is also survived by her mother, Victoria, Siblings Vicky, Joann, Michele, and sister-in-law, Paula. Also survived by her Children Matthew, his wife Cristina, Daughter Elizabeth, and youngest son, Joseph. Her Grandchildren, Lila, Aaron, Logan, and Leah. Predeceased by her father, Michael Sr., and Brother Michael Jr.  She will be missed greatly but forever remembered.
