Gerardo R. DeNunzio

Gerardo R. DeNunzio 73, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on June 6, 2011. He was born on Jan. 4, 1938 to the late Vito and Aida (nee Diorio) DeNunzio in Venticano, Italy. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Gerardo was a master salesman in the food industry and also a "Jack of all Trades". He is survived by his wife Cheryl (nee Strock) DeNunzio, his children; Marc and Justine, Monica and Gina and Vincent Papitto, four brothers; Enzo and Paula, Evandro and Inge, Claudio and Chris and Dante, two sisters; Fausta and Elena. Also survived by his five grandchildren; Erica, Kristen, Vincent, Alexa and Marc, Jr. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Autism Speaks, would be appreciated.
