Gerardo T. Commentucci

Gerardo T. Commentucci 78, of Peekskill, N.Y. and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died suddenly on Dec. 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 28, 1932 to the late Paulo and Erselia (nee Cavicchia) Commentucci in Portland, OR. Gerardo worked for Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. for over thirty years, retiring in 1997. He is survived by his devoted wife Nicolina (nee Cunsolo) Commentucci of Peekskill, N.Y. his loving children; Elsa Colotti and her husband Glenn of Harrison, N.Y., Vicky Zulli and her husband Mark of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Paul Commentucci and his wife Donna of New City, N.Y. one brother Castorino (Teresa) Commentucci of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday (today) 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
