George A. Stone

George A. Stone 81, of Bedford and Valhalla, N.Y. and most recently of Jensen Beach, FL, earned his final wings after thirty plus years as a Corporate Pilot and Director of Aviation on July 17, 2021.He was born on November 7, 1939 to the late George and Dorothy (nee Roberts) Stone in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy. While living in Valhalla, N.Y. he was a member of the Valhalla Fire Department. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia (nee Strilecky) Stone of Jensen Beach, FL and is also survived by his loving children, James (Donna) Stone of Valhalla, N.Y., Wendy (Larry) Tricarico of Newark, DE., Ashleigh (Mike) Stone Dionne of Jensen Beach, FL and Maxwel Stone of Clearwater, FL. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Frank (Meagan), Kristina (Carmen), Jennifer, Michael, Matthew and two great grandchildren, Riley and Liam. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, 2021 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.     In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, would be appreciated.
