George H. Dittmeier of Valhalla, N.Y. died unexpectedly after a fall on June 30, 2014.
He was 90. He served proudly with the US Army during WWII. He attended Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and Stevens Institute of Technology. He was employed as a Materials Engineer at US Army Soldier and Biological Systems Command in Natick, MA. George is survived by his wife of 63 years, Domenica Dittmeier , son, Eric Dittmeier and daughter, Carolyn Dittmeier and one grandson, Massimiliano Avanzi. Predeceased
by his daughter Lydia Dittmeier. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Saturday,
10 AM-11AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
