George T. Conley, Sr

George T. Conley Sr. 95, of Hawthorne, N.Y. and most recently a resident of the Westchester Meadows in Valhalla, N.Y. died on Dec.15, 2009 at the White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on Sept.13, 1914 in Port Arthur, Canada to the late John and Ella (nee Guerard) Conley. He served proudly in the US Navy during WII. George was a retired Engineer working with Air Pollution Correction for UOP, Inc. in Norwalk, Conn. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Olga (nee Weissenborn) Conley in 2003 and his son Richard B. Conley in 2005. He is survived by his loving children; George T. Conley Jr. and his wife Sheila of Carmel, N.Y. Carolyn P. Conley of Bluffton, SC. and Connie E. Conley of Carmel, N.Y. Also survived by his 3 cherished grandchildren; Richard B. Jr. John T. and Christopher T. Conley. No visiting hours. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday 10 :30 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Name of Jesus Church 2 Bway Valhalla, N.Y. 10595 would be appreciated.
