George C. Busigo

George C. Busigo 87, a longtime resident of Valhalla, N.Y. died on August 17, 2020. He was born on March 26, 1933 to the late Joseph and Anna (nee Busigo) Fajardo in NYC. George proudly served in the US Army from 1953-1955. A graduate of  NYU in N.Y., N.Y. and an Avid Yankee Fan.  He was a retired Self Employed Electrical Engineer in Thornwood, N.Y. He enjoyed Coaching and Boy Scouting. George also completed two NYC Marathon’s. He was a proud member of The Valhalla American Legion Post # 1038. George is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Barbara (nee Trombino) Busigo of Valhalla, N.Y. and by his two loving daughters, Lori (Dan) Sullivan of Norwood, Mass and Michelle (Ron) Guardino of Wake Forest, NC. and predeceased by his one beloved son, Stephen Busigo in 1988. one brother, Charles (Sandra) Rodriguez of Queens, N.Y. also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Erin and Lauren Sullivan and Ronny, Jeremy, Stephen and Justin Guardino. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations to Valhalla American Legion Post # 1038 Legion Drive Valhalla, N.Y. 10595, would be appreciated.
