Genevieve P. Ferri

Genevieve P. Ferri, a West Harrison resident, died December 25, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born February 5, 1927 in Greenwich, Connecticut to the late Lawrence and Josephine Intrieri.

Genevieve graduated from Greenwich High School. On January 10, 1951 she married the love of her life Vincent P. Ferri at St. Catherine's Church in Riverside, CT. They were married for 67 years before her husband's passing in 2018.

She is survived by her children; Vincent (Debra) Ferri of West Harrison, Donna Marie Ferri of West Harrison and David (Deborah) Ferri of Lagrangeville and her grandchildren; Michael (Amanda) Ferri, Emilie (Matt) Collier, Stephen V. Ferri, Rebecca (Carlos) Baez and Will Ferri along with great grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Collier, Delaney Ferri, her dog Buddy and her special friend Barbara Magnotta. She is predeceased by her brothers Michael, Rocco, Frank, Albert, Anthony and Fred Intrieri and her sisters Louise Correnty and Viola DellaPietro.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She had a keen eye for fashion and home decorating. She welcomed everyone to her home and always enjoyed preparing a meal for anyone who came to visit. She had a great sense of humor and loved to have her family around her. She loved the holidays especially Christmas and Easter in which she would prepare her traditional family dishes from generations before.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
