Frieda Barbara Grob

Frieda Barbara Grob, of White Plains, NY, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2017. Born January 2, 1925 in Kallmé�nz, Germany, she was the daughter of Wilhelm Schuler and Theres Merl. On January 17, 1948 she married Raymond Grob in White Plains, NY where they lived and raised three children. Frieda was lucky to have had "the best job" working for General Foods for 30 years. After retiring, she continued to share her passion for food and cooking working with Marcia Selden Catering. Throughout her life, Frieda loved to share her time with her friends and family. An enthusiastic hostess, she always made room for one more place at the table and eagerly shared her many wonderful recipes (including her infamous Spritz cookies). Frieda loved to spend time in her garden and was also a seasoned yarn-worker, crocheting and knitting beautiful handmade gifts. Frieda is survived by her children, Claudia Toner and Robert Grob (wife Joanne), six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, her son Richard, and her four siblings. There will be no public calling hours.
