Frank Pineda

Frank Pineda 74, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Oct. 26, 2011. He was born on Oct.8, 1937 to Francisco and Carmen (nee Montalvo) Pineda in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1952-1956. Frank is survived by his devoted wife Claire (nee Marerro) Pineda of Ocala, Fla. His mother, Carmen Pineda of Miami, Fla. his loving children; Allan Pineda of Valhalla, N.Y., William (Butch) Pineda of Bronx, N.Y., Lori (Robert) Blaney of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. and Kim (Nizam) Yavuz of Greensboro, NC. one sister, Evelyn Zamora of Miami, Fla. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren; Thomas Pineda, Joanne and Kristen Blaney and Beyza and Kayra Yavuz. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Entombment, Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, N.Y.
