Frank J. Mascolo

Frank J. (Chic) Mascolo 99, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Oct. 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born on March 12, 1920 to the late Pasquale and Kate (nee Caruso) Mascolo in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. He served proudly in the US Army in WWII. He worked for the NYC Board of Education and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Seniors. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann (nee Battaglia) Mascolo in 1998, three brothers, Sonny, Alfred and Teddy and two sisters, Evelyn and Marilyn and also predeceased by his beloved grandson, Frank T. Mascolo. He is survived by his loving children, Frank (Joanna) Mascolo of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Teri (Richie) Tirone  and Barbara (Joe) Caiola, both of Hawthorne, N.Y. one sister, Genevieve (Anthony) Lembo of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Gina (Christopher) Lee, Stephanie Ford, Joseph (Jaime) Caiola and Lauren Mascolo and four great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
