Frank S. Fucile

Frank S. Fucile 89, of West Harrison, N.Y. Died peacefully in his sleep on Oct.26, 2006 at Nathan Miller Nursing Horne in White Plains, N.Y. He was born on May 25, 1917 to Sebastian and Louise (nee Marucci) Fucile in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. He served in the 34th infantry in the US Army during WWll. He worked for New York Central/Con Rail for 44 years retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Dumphy Council #450 in White Plains, NY, and was a member of Local UTU #385 in Croton, N.Y. and was a founding member of Roma AC in White Plains, N.Y. Frank was an avid bowler, golfer and loved softball. He was predeceased by his wife Katherine (nee Miele) Fucile in 2002, and 1 deceased daughter Kathy Fahey in 1997. Frank is survived by 2 sons Frank S. Fucile Jr. of West Harrison, N.Y. and Paul Fucile and his wife Cheryl of Pawling, N.Y. 1 daughter Louise Gutierrez (Tim) of West Harrison, NY 2 brothers Michael and John Fucile of Puerto Rico and 3 sisters Rose Materile of Danbury, Conn. Susan Humeston of Ft.Lauderdale, Fla. and Virginia (Midge) Peduzzi of White Plains, N.Y. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Horne on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Tuesday 11 AM. Interment Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. The family wishes to thank with heartfelt gratitude the Mt.Pleasant Medical Group and Dr. Aris Comninellis for the care they have given their father.
