Frank G. Beeftink of White Plains died Tuesday, January 25, 2010, a few days before his 85th birthday. Frank was born in Nieuwenhagen, Holland to Lawrence and Hubertine Beeftink. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater and fought in the D-Day Invasion. Frank worked for the United Nations in New York as an administrator and served missions in Africa and Israel. He loved to travel especially to France where he resided for some time and to Spain. His beloved wife Ginette survives him as well as three children Elisabeth Wallace, Sylvie Donnelly and Larry Beeftink. Frank is also survived by four grandchildren, Eric (Stephanie) Wallace, Ken Donnelly, Brian Donnelly and Erik (Melanie) Sherwood; two great grandchildren Owen and Andrew Wallace; a brother-in-law, Thomas Martin and nephew Todd (Julia) Sherwood. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
