Francesco Miraglia 78, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on May 22,2017. He was born on August 8,1938 to the late Guiseppe and Maria (nee Genovese) Miraglia in Terra Nova, Potenza, Italy. He was a retired Maintenance Worker with Local 32B-J in NYC for 32 years retiring in 2001.Francesco was predeceased by his devoted wife, Rosa (nee Caprara) Miraglia in 2011. He is survived by his loving daughters, Maria (Dan) Parascandola and Teresa (Ray) Petrilli both of Valhalla, N.Y. one brother and two sisters, also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Mark and Julia Parascandola and Christian and Nicholas Petrilli. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday,4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
