Fernanda Block

Fernanda Block, 96, died on April 11, 2020. She was born in Rome, Italy on December 10, 1923 to Attilio and Carolina Michisanti (nee Collepiccolo) and married Stanley Block on February 20, 1948. They settled in the Bronx, New York and lived there together until his death in 2004.

Fernanda is survived by her loving children, Richard (Ellen), of New York, NY, and Wendy (Howard), of Elmsford, NY, and her cherished grandsons, Russell, of Burlington, MA, and James, of Columbia, MD. She was predeceased by her son, Alan, in 1999. Fernanda will be dearly remembered for her beauty, elegance, kindness and inquisitive mind.

Interment will be private at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY.
