Felix Philip (Sonny) Carpenito 73, of New Rochelle, N.Y. and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. died on May 15, 2010 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on May 20, 1936 to the late Dominic and Angelina (nee Magnotta) Carpenito in White Plains, N.Y. He was a self employed caterer and painter in the White Plains area. Sonny was one of the longest living heart transplant recipients from Nov.1991. He is survived by his devoted wife JoAnne (nee Signorelli) Carpenito of Rye Brook, N.Y. His loving children; Michael Carpenito of Hudson, N.Y., Lori Carpenito, Maria O'Leary and her husband Timothy both of Dover, N.Y. Lisa Langford and her husband Matthew of Queensbury, N.Y. and Angela Carpenito of Rye Brook, N.Y. His beloved brothers and sisters; Alfonso (Fuzzy) (Maria) Carpenito, James (Lucy) Carpenito, Raymond (Janie) Carpenito all of West Harrison, NY John Carpenito of North White Plains, N.Y., Antoinette Moriarty of Orlando, Fla., Carol (Joseph) Shallow and Frances MacCabee both of White Plains, N.Y. Predeceased by 1 sister Linda Ciaramella and by 1 brother Dominic (Butch) Carpenito. Also survived by six cherished grandchildren; Kevin and Jonathan Carpenito, Shawna and Tyler O'Leary, Ethan and Riley Langford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
