Faber W. Croll

Faber W. Croll 83, of Armonk, N.Y. died on Jan. 10, 2011. He was born on August 17, 1927 to the late Faber and Mina Louise (nee Overton) Croll in N.Y., N.Y. He proudly served in both the Merchant Marines and US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Faber was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his devoted wife Doris (nee Lamothe) Croll of Armonk, N.Y. and by his loving children; James Faber Croll of Tolland, Conn. and Susan Nancy Croll-Trimpe and her husband Robert of Bedford, N.Y. one brother Robert M. Croll and his wife Kay of Westchester, PA. Also survived by his three cherished grandchildren; Stephen, Lauren and Emily Croll. Predeceased by his one sister Nancy Hobby. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Saturday 4-8 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to Briarcliff Animal Shelter North State Road Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. would be appreciated.
