Evelyn R Howard

Evelyn R. Howard of Hartsdale, NY, died peacefully with her husband by her side on July 26, 2010. She was 88 years old. Beloved wife of Arthur Howard and dear mother to Cindee Jill Howard, she was also a dear friend, neighbor, aunt, and cousin to many people. Evelyn retired after teaching kindergarten in the Edgemont School System. She was a volunteer at White Plains Hospital, Blythdale Children's Hospital, the Mother-Child program, and the Cross-Cultural Conversation program. She was also a board member and founding member of the Westchester Philharmonic and Scholarship Chairperson of the Sisterhood of Congregation Kol Ami. Interment will be at Sharon Gardens Cemetery.
