Ethel Anttila

Ethel Anttila 88, of Hawthorne, N.Y. and formerly of Fitchburg, MA. died on June 15, 2021 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center, Mt. Kisco, N.Y. She was born on April 24, 1933 to the late Anton and Ester (nee Makinen) Kleimola in Ramsay, MI. Ethel was a retired Cafeteria Worker with Chappaqua Schools. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Seniors. Ethel was predeceased by her devoted husband Weikko (John) Anttila in 1970. She is survived by her loving sons, Eric (Debbie) Anttila of Pleasantville, N.Y. and David (Diane) Anttila of Wilmington, NC and formerly of Dover Plains, N.Y. daughter in law (Deceased Maryellen 2005) also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, John, Caitlin, Emily and Travis.  Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Private burial services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA on Saturday June 19, 2021. In lieu of flowers donations to Northern Westchester Hospital Center, 400 East Main Street Mt.Kisco, N.Y. 10549, would be appreciated.
