Elizabeth B Simons

Elizabeth (Betty) B. Simons lifetime resident of White Plains peacefully passed away surrounded by family on May 22nd, 2012 at the age of 89. Betty was born August 11th, 1922 to John and Gertrude Bogart and Graduated Grasslands School of Nursing. She proudly served as 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps during WWII when she met her beloved husband William who predeceased her in 1963. Betty was also predeceased by her brother John Bogart.
Betty is survived by her six children; William (Patricia) Simons, Elizabeth Pertak, Robert (Barbara) Simons all of White Plains; Raymond Simons (Janet McNicholas) of Chicago, Kathleen (Steven) Napolitano of Wolcott CT, and John (Mary) Simons of Hamilton Square, NJ.
Additional survivors include 12 grandchildren; Shannon Meirzon, Kelly Krakowski, Erin Mitchell, Christina Goin, William Simons, Pamela Castellano, Thomas Simons, Mary T. Simons, Sarah Napolitano, James Napolitano, Alexandra Simons, Emma Napolitano; and 8 great grandchildren; Jahfari and Ashani Mitchell, Connor Goin, Max, Benjamin and Grace Krakowski, Madison and Jackson Meirzon and her beloved rescue dog Teddy.
