Our dear Mother passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon at Daughters of Israel. Diane was with her.
Her funeral is planned for the graveside at Mt. Eden Cemetery, 20 Commerce St., Hawthorne NY on Sunday July 7 at noon. We hope you can join us for a memorial luncheon (location to be announced) immediately afterwards. Please reply to this post, or email me separately (sterndw@gmail.com) so we can estimate the number of guests. If you know of relatives who do not check this page, please let them know.
Rain is a possibility - we have until Friday to elect a chapel service, which would require a 10:30 start time. Please check back here Friday afternoon for final arrangements.
We will not have a formal shiva service, but we will join together to celebrate a long life, well lived.
