Eleanor Belluscio departed this life peacefully on April 3rd. She was a long time resident of Elmsford, NY. Eleanor was born on January 8, 1926 in Elmsford. She was the daughter of Daniel Hanlon and Margaret Hanlon. She had two siblings John E. Hanlon and Catherine Vilim that have predeceased her Her first husband Joseph Massaro predeceased her and she remarried Francis Belluscio in 1970 who also predeceased her in 1980. She taught for over 30 years at Alice E. Grady School in Elmsford. She was an articulate, kind, brillant and generous woman.She secured a Masters Degree and attended NYU.

She was an avid traveler and spent time visiting relatives in Ireland on many a sojourn. Eleanor had an infinite love for animals of all kinds. She donated to her local shelters over the years. Being a woman of great faith she also volunteered to assist with hospice patients with the local nuns in Westchester County. She was a loving aunt and surrogate mother to her niece Nancy Hanlon. Her memorial service and celebration of life will take place on Wednesday April 8th at 10 am for herfamily and close friends only due to current virus restrictions. She will have burial service at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Tarrytown, NY. We wish to thank her loving caregiver/ companion and entire family of Betty Murray for their compassion and kindness. they brought laughter, solace, and peace to Eleanor over the last 3 plus years.
