Elaine Bessen

Elaine Bessen 86, of Somers, N.Y. died on Nov.18,2019. She was born on April 19,1933 to the late Isidore and Lee Elman in NYC. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerome Bessen of Somers, N.Y. and also survived by her children, nieces and nephews, Ted, Donna, Wendy, Bruce, Eric and Allison. Also survived by her thirteen cherished grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Services, Temple Shaaray- Tefila 89 Baldwin Road Bedford Corners, N.Y. 10549 on Wednesday, 11 AM. Interment to follow at Wellwood Cemetery, West Babylon, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Columbia University, c/o Dr. Mears Research Fund 161 Fort Washington Ave. Room 923 N.Y., N.Y. 10032, would be appreciated.
