Duncan McIntosh, Jr

Duncan McIntosh, Jr., a former long time resident of Ossining, NY died at his home in Apollo Beach, Florida on May 4, 2011. He was 61. Duncan was a retired Westchester County Police Officer and former Corrections Officer at Sing Sing Prison. He served his country in the Army and National Guard. He also volunteered at Ground Zero right after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City and continued donating his time at the site for weeks after the tragedy. A genuinelv caring man with a "gift of gab". Duncan is survived by his fiancee Jane Andrews, daughters Jillian Alyssa McIntosh and Elizabeth Albota. sons Michael Scott McIntosh and Duncan Andrew McIntosh, grandson Lucian Mackintosh Albota, granddaughter Mirabela Skye Albota, nephew Geoffrey and wife Pat, nephew Michael Lonsberry and niece Lisa Junkermann. Visitation will be held at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532. 914-769-4404, on Monday, Mav 9th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army.
