Max J. Prager, 94, of White Plains, died on October 30, 2006. He was the son of Jacob and Rebecca Praga, who emigrated to New York from Russia. He was born and lived in New York City until moving to White Plains in the 1940s. He was graduated from the New York University School of Dentistry and practiced in Yorktown Heights until his retirement in 1982.
He is survived by Carol M. Prager, his wife of 68 years with whom he lived in their long-time home, and by his brother Bernard Praga of Boynton Beach, Florida. He was predeceased by his sister Ethel Weintraub. He is also survived by his son Richard A. Prager, and his wife Carol G. Prager, of Holden, Massachusetts and by his daughter Joan E. Prager, of Tallahassee, Florida. He had three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
