Dr. Sidney S. Friedland

Sidney S. Friedland, M.D., 74, died suddenly on February 20, 2006. He was the devoted husband and best friend of Selma for 51 years. Loving father to Andrew (Katie), Jane Silverstein (Seth), and Steven (Randi); Poppa to Jeffrey, Jared, Craig, Jonathan, Ethan, Kyra and Liza; brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

Dr. Friedland was an internist who practiced in Hartsdale, New York from 1960 through 1999 at 120 E. Hartsdale Avenue. Dr. Friedland graduated from CCNY, Phi Beta Kappa (1952), NYU Medical School (1956) and was board certified in Internal Medicine. In addition to private practice, he was Tuberculosis Consultant to the County of Westchester for 31 years.
