Dorothy Frances O'Brien Finch 85, of Hawthorne N.Y. died on November 3, 2013. She was born on February 19, 1928 to the late William and Mary Catherine O'Brien in Mt. Vernon N.Y. Dorothy was a retired cosmetologist for B' Altmans andNeiman Marcus in White Plains N.Y. Dorothy held leadership roles in the Rosary Altar Society, Catholic Youth Organization, the Ladies of Charity, Passionate Retreat House and was an avid theater buff. Dorothy's signature was all of the hats she wore. Dorothy is survived by her three loving children James Kip (Judy) Finch of Jefferson City MO, Scott Emerson Finch of Hawthorne NY and Allison Lori (Stuart) Finch Doriss of Phoenix MD. She is also survived by her cherished grandson Jack Alexander Bradley Doriss. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne N.Y. Thursday, 10AM.
