Dorothy Elizabeth Daly

Dorothy Elizabeth Daly, a longtime resident of White Plains, died on August 2, 2011. She was 82.

Mrs. Daly was born on March 22, 1929 in Yonkers to the late Edward Odell and Bertha Greening. On November 23, 1952 she married Francis Joseph Daly at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville. He died in 1999.

She is survived by her son Michael Joseph Daly of White Plains; two daughters, Kathleen Theresa Kirkman of Bethel, CT and Mary Anne Daly of Cresco, PA; and three grandchildren Grace Anne Daly, Delia Kirkman, and Dr. Greg Michael Kirkman. She is pre-deceased by a sister Edith Whaley.

Visiting is on Thursday from 3-8pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave. at South Broadway, White Plains, NY. Mass is on Friday at 9:30am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 148 Hamilton Ave. White Plains, NY. Interment at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
