Dorothea Morello

Dorothea Morello, 91, of White Plains, N.Y, peacefully passed away in her sleep on January 2, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 31,1931 to the late George and Anne Zeuner in Bronx, N.Y. Dorothea worked for many years as a receptionist at New Rochelle Hospital. When she retired, she continued a career working with children for the White Plains school district. She is survived by her 3 children, Joseph Morello (Ceri), Laura Adams (Philip) and Joann Morello (Robert) and was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in November of 2015 and her beloved daughter, Linda in July of 2022. Dorothea loved her seven grandchildren and her nieces and nephews dearly. Reposing at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 on Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 12-2 PM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Jesus, Valhalla, NY on Monday at 10 AM.
